Professional Outside Technical Sales Representative:

For over 45 years, Inspection Engineering has been selling and servicing advanced precision measuring instruments. Continued business growth and new product lines offer an opportunity for a Professional Outside Technical Sales Representative based in the eastern Pennsylvania area.
This Technical Sales position will concentrate on advanced and automated technology solutions to clients in the medical, aerospace, defense and EV automotive industries, to name just a few.
The ideal candidate will be a driven, competitive and talented individual who is very organized, technically savvy and a motivated self-starter. Sales team members are responsible for the growth and development their respective territory. Each member is also accountable for consistent new opportunity prospecting, weekly product demonstrations, drafting proposals, closing deals and maintaining post sale relationships with clients. Responsibilities also include proper reporting, forecasting and recording within Company CRM.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Self-starter, with the commitment to work hard
- Excellent communication and follow through skills
- Quality or metrology experience a definite plus, but not a requirement
- Bachelors degree (preferred but not required with equivalent experience)
- Excellent time management skills, ability to prioritize and work independently
- Must have ability to travel within assigned territory making sales calls to current and prospective new customers.
- Ambition and desire to learn new technology and solve client needs
- Ability to manage a complex B to B sales process and close deals.
- Participate in formal product training
- CRM experience
Job Type:
- Local travel out of office up to 80%
- First year compensation is expected to be in the $65,000- $85,000 range.
- Second year and beyond expected be in excess of $100,000.
- This is an exempt full-time position
